I remember clearly when I first met Nic and Cami. It was cold outside and we met at a Starbucks. I remember when they walked in, and they were the most kind people, instantly we were friends, and that didn’t change. During their engagement session we just kept talking and talking, about relationships, about their favourite spots, and how this wedding was really such a pivotal point in their lives and family. They totally welcomed me into their lives, told me all sorts of stories, didn’t hold back the difficult, and I felt so strongly as if I had known them my whole life…and I think that shows through their images, but you guys are the ones who can tell me that.
Nic and Cami’s day was so beautifully full of love and family. This was the most important thing to them, and that was definitely my main focus going into the day, but they made it so easy, they were all so kind, always willing to do whatever crazy idea I had, always making those candid shots so easy because they were really that full of emotion, really that raw, and it was so beautiful to watch.
Nic and Cami, you two are perfect for each other. I so love watching your story unfold, I am so thankful to be a part of your life, even if it is just a sliver of it. Your day was so breathtaking, you love like no one else does. I wish you all the best in your life together, and I know these images will be treasured for generations by so many people who love you both dearly.
